New Yorker 8X
The New Yorker shed comes standard with a set of pine double doors (see spec. sheet).
The New Yorker design was derived from our Vermonter
design. Like the Vermonter, this building is your
basic outdoor storage shed. The 5 ft. double doors
have been moved to the bearing wall and the overall
height has been raised to allow for this change. The
shed is perfect to fit your storage needs and cure the
over flowing garage.
This outbuilding’s 5’0” double doors are large enough
to fit a riding lawn mower, ATV, or a couple motorcycles.
The versatile shed has been used in many ways from
general storage to a play house or turned into a great
little potting shed tucked away by the garden.
No Plywood is used in the New Yorker. It is built the
same way they have been for centuries with native
Vermont Lumber. Available in Option A with the double
doors on the 12’ bearing wall and in Option B with the
double doors on the 8’ gable end.

With at least 64 sq./ft. of usable space, the 8x Gable cottages have plenty of room for both his and her needs. When sheltering a heavy tractor take into consideration the floor system, and the door height clearance. It sometimes works best to eliminate the floor or beef up the floor framing by requesting 16” on center joists and 3/4” plywood flooring. The door clearance should allow the height of the roll bar to clear.View Specification Sheet (8×8)
Sugar Shacks 12x
A traditional New England design, the sugar shack is still used today to boil maple syrup. This design comes standard as a non-working sugar shack. Meaning the cupola is strictly decorative. If you would like a functional sugar shack you can upgrade to a venting cupola which has opening sides where the steam escapes. In the springtime a large cloud of smoke and steam can be seen rising high above a sugar shack. Whether you intend to use this building as a working Sugar Shack, workshop, the Sugar Shack design is an asset to any landscape.View Specification Sheet (12×16)
